West Platte has been an AMAZING place to start my teaching career! I couldn't have asked for a better school district to teach at. Not only are the students great and loving; the teachers and staff are too! It is an honor to work with such talented teachers and to consider them a part of my family!

Teacher Grant Fund for Excellence
The West Platte Education Foundation Teacher Grant Fund is to reward teachers and school-based administrators by funding their original and innovative projects. These projects should enrich the standard curriculum to West Platte teachers for creative and innovative opportunities for their students. Teachers can apply for the Fund for Excellence grants, which are reviewed by a committee of Foundation Board members, teachers, and administrators. These grants encourage innovative "outside the box" educational experiences.
The West Platte Education Foundation will award grants to educators for use during the school year. Any West Platte School District faculty or administrator may apply. Applications may be from an individual or group. Collaborative projects, including those involving multiple classes, are encouraged. Grants are available for up to $2,500.
