May 13, 2015 - Weston, MO - The West Platte Education Foundation announced at the annual High School Awards Ceremony on May 13, 2015 the winner of a $1,000 scholarship for demonstrating excellence in the classroom and in the community. Chelsea Englis is the recipient of this years $1,000 scholarship. Chelsea is attending Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri studying to be a dental hygienist.
There are many ways to get involved in the West Platte Education Foundation. Volunteers can work on a committee, assist handing out flyers at events, organize and help with event planning, and more! LEARN MORE!

Friday, September 28 -
--6:30 pm meet at the elementary playground for a group picture and head to the track for recognition before the football game
Saturday, September 29 -
--11:00 am meet at the District Office at 1103 Washington Street for a school tour
--2:00 pm meet at McCormick
--6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Dinner at the Avalon in Weston
--7:00 pm to 11:00 pm Social Hour at Avalon and all classes and teachers are invited to attend!

Congratulations West Platte Class of 1978 on your upcoming 40th class reunion. We are looking forward to seeing you again and announcing your names before the football game on Friday, September 28th. Please plan to meet at the elementary playground for a class photo at 6:30 pm and then we will head down to the track. Once the announcer calls your name, please waive at the fans in the stands. The game starts at 7:00 pm against North Platte.
On Saturday, at 11:00 am plan to meet at the District Office at 1103 Washington Street for a tour of the school. There have been lots of changes in the last few years and I'm sure you are excited to see what's been done.
